Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
- sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
-
Place the chicken wings in a large ziplock bag and pour in the sauce mixture. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best flavor.
-
Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Remove the wings from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off, and place them on the rack.
-
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until they are cooked through and crispy, flipping them halfway through.
-
While the wings are baking, pour the marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, until it thickens into a glaze.
-
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and brush them with the glaze.
-
Garnish the wings with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
-
Serve hot and enjoy!
